How to return something in a shop in Catalan
Take the item and the receipt to the till and say “Voldria tornar això” or “Ho puc canviar?”. Explain the problem: “Ho vaig comprar la setmana passada, però no em va bé”. The assistant will ask “Té el tiquet?” and “Vol el reemborsament o un canvi?”. If they offer a credit note, you can ask for your money back.
Try it · about two minutes
You take back a jumper that doesn’t fit and ask for an exchange or your money back.
Sound on: the shop assistant speaks Catalan. You choose what to say back, and Frasa tells you why it works.
