How to say where you’re from in French
When someone asks “Vous venez d'où ?”, say “Je viens du Canada” or “Je suis britannique”. For how long you’ve been here: “Je suis ici depuis deux semaines” or “J'ai emménagé il y a six mois environ”. Then say why you came, and ask a question back to keep the chat going.
