How to return something in a shop in Italian
Bring the item and the receipt, lo scontrino, and say “Vorrei restituire questo” or “Vorrei cambiarlo con un’altra taglia”. You’ll be asked “Ha lo scontrino?” and “Vuole il rimborso o il cambio?”. Returns depend on each shop’s policy: many offer an exchange or a credit note, un buono, rather than money back.
Try it · about two minutes
You take back a jumper that doesn’t fit and ask for an exchange or your money back.
Sound on: the shop assistant speaks Italian. You choose what to say back, and Frasa tells you why it works.
