Job interview questions in French

You’ll often hear “Parlez-moi de vous”, “Pourquoi voulez-vous ce poste ?” and “Quelles sont vos prétentions salariales ?”. Use vous throughout, keep answers concrete (“Je cherche un poste où je peux évoluer”), give salary as a gross yearly figure, and end with a question of your own: “Pouvez-vous me dire quelle est la prochaine étape ?”.

Try it · about two minutes

In a job interview you’re asked about yourself, your experience and your level of the language.

Sound on: the interviewer speaks French. You choose what to say back, and Frasa tells you why it works.
